Well his weight looks just right to me!! I hate commenting on confirmation as photos can be so misleading. I thought initially he looked a teensy bit back at knee but your boys shadow falls across where his knees are so that may be the reason - its harder to see!! Looks a lovely chap!!

I think he looks great - although I suppose he should carry his head a little lower - just to stand in-hand.

You may find judges want a bit more weight - resist them!!! Top judges that know what they're talking about won't want to see an overweight pony.

As an afterthought though - don't clip an M&M if you want to show in hand early in the season. You'll have to wait until July/August before you can show your pony without a trace of a clip mark........!!

he carries his head quite low anyways , sometimes too low at times

That clip was in novemeber believe it or not as he was doing starter stakes working hunter .

The inhand classes are much later in the year anyways , so his summer coat should have come through by then .

And to be fair , I really didnt know what I was for doing with him this year as there is so much he can do and with him working well during the winter he really did need the clip

But yes I do know what you are saying

Thanks x

Love him, love him, love him. Just one comment - in the first photo his head carriage looks too high but you've explained that. You haven't got a 16hh version of him up your sleeve have you?
