Conformation/ Confirmation, whoops!!

Just sending an email, which needed to be carefully worded, to a vet who treated my horse, a quick last read before sending revealed conformation instead of confirmation, I so often see confirmation on here instead of conformation it just comes naturally to put in a o, thank goodness I had that last look would have felt very if it had been sent.

I hope you mean the other way around It's spelled with an o

I'm confused as to which spelling you sent in your email, but conformation is the correct spelling RE a horse.

Conformation describes how the horse/ dog etc is put together.
Confirmation is saying you will be there/do it or whatever.

Depends if it was regarding the horses conformation, or confirmation regarding a query, the OP isn't clear!

JFTD, it is one of mine and I so nearly sent it, it's spending too much time on here mentally correcting other people, I automatically think conformation and use it far more often than confirmation, I do not send that many formal emails where I have to confirm anything
