Conformation Critique my new horse please? :)

Hiya, i have recently got a new horse and just wondered what you thought as i'm totally rubbish at this sort of thing. He has been out of work for 6 months so obviously hes not going to look great, but just wanted to know what you thought of him at the moment. Thanks guys !!

Thank you. He really is, he's so affectionate, he's always coming up to me and putting his head on me just for a 'cuddle' xx

He looks lovely. He is not standing at the best position to clearly see his true body shape. I think it looks like he could do with a little building up over the hind quarters, but that might be the camera angle. He does look really nice though and reminds me a lot of one of our horses ! lovely shoulder on him !!

he has lovely legs! really good conformation. his back is dipping a bit but this is probably due to lack of topline. he'll look lovely once you get him all muscled up
how old is he?

My only criticism of him would be that he looks a bit front heavy and might need a bit of work to get that 'rear engine' working properly.

He look very good concidering he's been out of work for 6 months!
He has deep girth, high withers, and lacking a little shape to his quarters (should look better once fitter) He has a good topline though, considering he's not doing anything!!
