conformation critique of my mare?

I think she is a little ewe necked and lacking topline but otherwise is ok.
Can I ask what breed she is because she looks extremely(sp) like my mare (I dont know my mares breeding because she was rescued!!). Ill try and post a photo if I can x.

lol i dont know what breeding she is either! best guess is a welsh x but who knows!!

I don't know that I would say that she is ewe necked - she does have her head stuck up at funny angle in these pictures - but you really need a dead side on picture with the horse stood in a "normal" relaxed position. She is obviously alert and looking at something in these pictures.

I would agree that these pictures do make her look like she is lacking in topline. How old is she? In these pictures she looks a little "bum high" - but again this could just be the picture.

I think all in all she gives a nice overal picture - but I would like to see a picture of her stood dead side on in a more relaxed pose.

These were taken a couple of winters ago I need to get the more recent (and decent) ones of my camera when I get a chance x.

she is 12, but been only hacked out and hunted for the past 2 years - i have just started to school her again and she is building her topline back up nicely. I dont think she is ewe necked either - just crap photos, my fault!! thanks for your reply!

She does look lovely though! I'd have her (if my stables weren't all full!!) LOL!
