conformation critique please!

Incidentally, why does the height of the tail placement matter? Does it predispose the horse to some sort of tail-related injury's!? Or does it imply there is more pressure on the spine or something? (one of the few things the pdf does not address..!)
 
Nathan wont need a tin hat, as s/he has put his/her view across in a very balanced and factual manner, without resorting to needless criticism or sly digs at the OP and their perceived level of competence.
 
Humm not sure if she is standing totally side on but the thing I notice is there isn't that much room for the saddle as it looks like she has a big shoulder and short back??

My old boy had this and it was never a problem as long as my butt could fit into a 16inch saddle . . . .

the truth is the truth. I admit that it can be jollied up with the addition of a few flowery words and some jelly babies, but.........! As I said, if the person likes the horse and doesnt want to do wonders in the competitive world..go for it! If you have a personal desire to argua/fight, please contacy the 'FC?. I have no desire to exchange useless words with you.

Hadn't noticed this, but yes I'd say you're right :D
If you follow marks from the girth up, you can see that the saddle she has at present seems to sit onto her shoulder.... or I may just be seeing things in my old age :D
 
Critiques of horse I mostly agree with, unecessary digs I don't.. Makes you wonder why some people feel the need though? I think the horse looks lovely (and does have a cool mane!), and if you want to "do wonders in the competitive world" (lmao!!) then give it a shot! Would be interested to know what his tb breeding is if you know?
