Confused about worming...

Hi,
I bought a horse a month ago and when i bought her the owner said she was up tn date with her worming and would be due again in september.
I have just been looking into worming her and am really confused as to when and what type to use. Can anyone help please?! Thanku x

Why not do feacal egg counts instead of worming? there are a few different organisations that do it commercially or your Vets may do it as a service - it saves pumping wormer into your horse when they dont need it, generally cheaper, plus it should help slow down worm resistance...

Alternatively if you dont know a lot about worming, your vets should be able to put an annual worming plan together for you telling you when to worm and what with,
