I'm delighted to see SPANA has hit the headlines and hopefully will gain the publicity it richly deserves through it. While SPANA may not be involved with the super star equines, their work is vital in educating those who do not have the knowledge to treat their equines in the best way they can. While most of us have horses purely for pleasure, to others their horses/donkeys, mules etc can be the difference between surviving and not!
I hope even in these very tough economic times people might be able to give a donation to a truely deserving charity.

Yes, a very well deserved award. I've been a supporter for some years now and think they are a fantastic charity working in very challenging conditions, I hope they may get more publicity for their cause.
