Conjunctivitis...

Tia has conjunctivitis in her right eye...

The vet said it can be quite common for them to get it when they come back from kennels but this is the first time she has ever had it and she has been in kennels lots of times.

Does anyone else have any experience of this? It makes you worried about sending them if they come back with infections... although I guess it's the same as sending your children to school!

My dog has had conjunctivtis a few times usually caused by the odd hay seed.I have used Golden Eye and find it works every time.Hope she gets better soon.xxxxxxx

Thanks... I was wondering about using golden eye as I used to use it on myself years ago! Vet has given me some stuff for this time but thinking of using something else if it comes back again

I had a wee scottie that got it, the vet gave her an injection then she got eye drops everyday for a week or so. Clears up very quickly and easily.

My Lab had it too, once or twice

Nothing much to worry about, clears up quickly with the use of eyedrops
