Conjunctivitis

Evening everyone

My horse has been treated for conjunctivitis since last week , on eye drops really settled though the middle part of the week

No inflammation there all

But today is all inflamed again

Waiting on call back from the vets

Still on eye drops

Is there something physical irritating rather than just an infection? Definitely a vet job, hopefullly not an out of hours call out

Definitely get it looked at again. Is there light sensitivity too? Could well be that the conjunctivitis was secondary to something else such as an ulcer. My mare poked herself in the eye in December and originally it was just about weepy but it developed into an ulcer but with careful management and following vets instructions it is now healed.
