Hi all

Me again, wondering what people think of connemaras and partbred con's I have a TB xcon and next spring i may be buying a conx w/blood has anyone got a conxwarmblood, if so would love to know how he/she is??

Many thanks

i have a purebred connie and he is fantastic, will turn his hooves to anything and has such an amazing kind temperament. im more of a purebred fan as i do showing, but connie x's are fab, ive never known one but a connie/warmblood sounds like quite a nice combination. good luck

Hi

Thanks for the reply, is that a picture of your connie? If so he looks lovely, my current boy is a tbxcon hes 15hh and the one im looking at is 3years old and probably 14.3 at the mo so not sure how big she will grow, but i think she will be a nice mix, how do i post photos i could put a picture of my boy on here so you can have a look.

thanks

Currently have a conni mare and her connixcob foal and they are both great the little foal is amazing when he is bought he will make someone a fabby little horse [well not so little lol he is nearly as big as his mum at 4 1/2 months lol]

no problem yeah thats my connie (looking far more inteligent than he is hehe)
im not sure how to upload pics i havent done it in a while, think you have to highlight the url then in front and behind put [/Img][Img\], or something like that, sorry thats probably not much use.

Thanks for trying to help re loading pictures but hey guess what it dosent really help,,,, he he he only jokeing will try and work it out, keep looking just incase i manage.

We have a TB X Conni and shes fab on the ground but plain horrid (broncs at every opportunity) when ridden! Always has been, I think shes just a one off for a conni x

My friend has a purebred though and hes lovely!

My daughters connemara x TB is a fabulous little chap. We have had him for 5 years and he does everything. He is a really hardy little chap and has the softest fluffiest coat ever! lol

My tbxconn is the grey in my sig.

I wouldnt have one crossed with a warmblood as I think the stubborn gene may then be cemented in for life. They cross very well with tbs

I have a conne x arab and he is super... wonderful temprement, the arab gives him a little spark but the conne makes him nice and steady - he'll go all day!!!

He does have a stubborn streak a mile long though when he wants one, and my instructor says this is a very conne trait!!

I love them as a breed and would have another in a second!!

Good luck!

xx

I had a purebred Conn who was and is amazing, he's now with a 13 year old girl winning all sorts. I had a Conn x TB who had a superb temperament but was very hot to ride, and now I have a Conn x arab x something else and he is amazing, very laid back.
Ive always loved Connies and would recommend them to anyone, especially as an allrounder. Good luck with the horse hunt!

Hi my ID xTB/SWB mare (now there's a right mix!) is in foal to a purebred Conny. Hoping I get something which will make a good allrounder of about 15.1/2hh.
