My boy is every bit a Connie - every feature is very typical of the breed, including his excellent temperament. He is well bred (by Moy Hazy Cove). But he is 15hh.
However, this is perfect for me. He is a fantastic little horse in every way. I don't 'do' showing at all so that side of it doesn't worry me.
I can see the problem in 'where to draw the line' for what is acceptable - 15.2? 15.3? - but from what I have gathered, those wanting to show Connies go for the 14.2s and under and people like me who want the best of the Connie in a slightly bigger package will go for the overheight ones.
