and its really freaking me out! Every night this week (usually dad is on night turnout duty but he's away!) she has been sat by the back door looking through the glass as if watching something and then suddenly starts whimpering (as much as malamute can whimper) and pawing the door to get out. I open it thinkin she wants to go toilet and she flies off to the far left corner of my garden which is incidentally 'pet cemetary' and has about 6 cats buried there over a period of 22 years (they eventually decide to cross the road
) and a hamster. Well she runs to this corner and can stay there for ages without getting bored (usually during the day she hates being in the garden as its boring) and she chases imaginary things around that corner and tries to climb up a wall to follow it. Now curiosity has overcome me and I've summed up the courage to follow her a few times, there's absolutely nothing there - no foxes, my last remaining cat is nowhere to be seen, I can't hear anything, nor see anything, she is chasing air, which is unlike her! Sometimes it gets so bad that I'm worried she will actually launch herself over the fence to follow whatever she's seeing, it's gotten to the stage that I can't catch her at night anymore as it's a nightmare trying to take her away from that corner, she looks at me with a really weird look in her eyes.
She couldn't care less about the corner and it's 'things' during the day, its only as soon as it goes dark, got to the point that I have to take her out on a lead for her late night wee as if I let her go she just races to the corner and will stay there for hours!
