Has anyone noticed that their horse or pony's behaviour has deteriorated following supplementing with Cool, Calm and Collected or something containing it, such as Winning Edge. I am trying to work out whether it can have actually made my pony more skittish, and whether to stop using it! Any comments gratefully received.

J is on it, and at first I noticed a huge difference, now I am not so sure, but worried how bad he would actually be if I took him off it

I tried the cool, calm and collected on a young horse of mine who is quite sharp, read all the stuff about it, spoke to a bloke from the company about it, spent a fortune on it, gave the higher dose for however long, then the maintenance dose and it did NOTHING!!

This happened to someone at my livery yard. They phoned the feedline at the company and were given an alternative instead. Suggest you phone them too.

I used Calm and condition and it sent my mare through the roof. I now use Blue Chip Karma and that seems to work really well. It's liquid form so maybe that's the difference for my mare rather than concentrated feed.

Mines been on it for two years. Had to ignore the instructions as the "off days" made her a nighmare.
However now have a wonder lil mare! ANd i swapped to the sensible essentials one as it was only a lil bit more and included the all round supplement.
WOuldnt change for the world/

I have a horse on cool calm and collected, I can honestly say it has made a massive difference to her. As all supplements I would say try it because not everything works for everybody.
Before you try it look at what you feed your horse, make sure you are not feeding any starchy feeds as these can send a horse wild!
