Cool high viz

So we all agree that it's important to be seen to be safe while riding... I am also a sucker for neon colours

In addition to the normal high viz tabards and nosebands, I have hat silks and jackets from Puffa that have 3M scotchlite thread woven in.

I'm always on the lookout for additional high viz stuff and the urban cycling world seems to have lots of fresh ideas.

I have to admit that I would prefer to wear something more stylish than the bin mans standard issue yellow vest I got issues by work (I work for a waste management company).

My first attempt at hi-viz, a few years back, involved raiding OH's cycling gear I got a neat Sam Browne belt, a good waterproof jacket with useful pocket at the back, and a set of leg bands.

Aww I like the heart things Jo.Barr! Although feel I may be a bit old for it, shame as they are cheap too!

Yes I would like to see Jackets that were different too, the hearts are really cute and great for my teenage duaghter. Must admit some of the adults at our yard liked them so much they bought some too x

Anyone know of a LIGHTWEIGHT hi viz jacket that isn't plasticky so it makes you sweat? I usually ride in my lovely warm Dikkies Fleece Jacket but its too hot in summer so I need an alternative for riding out in showery weather.I bought what I thought would be an ideal one in a cycle shop and its HORRID to ride in (and only has one pocket......in the back!)
