Cooler rug recommendations

I love my thermatex rugs, I have their summer and what I call winter version!

I have the Rambo dry rug for when I need to dry off my girl quickly and the Rambo air max for cooling off and highly recommend both.

So, I have always been a die hard thermatex fan.

Last year I acquired little Spanish gelding a wasn't expecting to keep so I broke all of my rules and bought him a (SHOCK HORROR) Rhinegold cooler. Looked like a Thermatex (aside from the brilliant white Rhinegold embroidered on it), felt like Thermatex, came up a teeny bit big but otherwise seemed ok. I put it on with trepidatation. IT IS BLOODY BRILLIANT!! Dries him just as quickly, and just as well as the thermatex. 1 year on, I still have the Spaniard, and still have the rug! It was under £30 and has been used for travelling, post bath, post hunting, thrown around, constantly put through the wash, generally used and abused and still it looks as good as new.

Rambo Airmax.
I'd wonder if a Thermatex, however lovely might be too warm? I only use mine when it's really cold and my horse is a clipped TB.
