What are people's views on feeding this feed? I used to for the first time last winter with good results but it is quite expensive and wanted to know if other things did just as good. I did feed speedibeet last year as well as this.

I fed it to my old cushingoid pony and TBH I don't think it made that much difference - and price is always an issue for the rescues. It also contains more sugars than I am happy with but I know some people have found it good.

Alfalfa pellets are 9- 10% NSC ,alfalfa hay is 12% NSC, oats are 54% NSC , copra meal is 11% NSC . (All values approx!)

I have fed copra for about 18 months now and find it v good for all three,(all barefoot) but especially useful for keeping weight on the old TB.

I love this feed. My old girl is doing beautifully on it with micronised linseed. She was on the linseed before with conditioning cubes, so the change is down to the copra
