A friends horse has just been diagnosed. Well a few weeks ago. He responded well to steroids but has relapsed. I’m not sure what other protocols are being followed. Do some need steroids all the time? Is this an option and him be ridden still? She is discussing nebulising him at the moment. Hope to start that next week. He is 13 and a lovely lad.

Mine has just had an episode, I think it was dry weather and harvest.

He is EMS so I am avoiding steroids. I found Ventipulmin helped stop an 'attack' and anti histamines help stop it recurring.

If that hadn't helped, then we would have had to go to the nebulising with steroids route, but, this year, we seem to have averted that risk!
