Iv had my horse 3 months and he's coughed since day one Iv not been negligent but Iv not for vet untill today and my poor chap has copd Iv been recommend by vet to get hayledge and he's going on ventipulmin I was hoping I cud make a steamer and steam hat as I don't want him fizzed up by haylege please can anyone give me there experience

My horse was diagnosed this summer and was put on ventipulmin and sputilosin and I also had him endoscoped, you should have seen all the muck down his throat (no actually you shouldn't have), but the ventipulmin worked and now he is on paper bedding (not everyones choice) and soaked hay (for at least 30 minutes) and he has come on in leaps and bounds. Has not coughed for over 2 months but you must be extra careful.

Oh thankyou this helps he's going onto ventipulmin on mon and Iv just bought him a haybar so will soak hay throughly and c how we go
