Hi all!

So I've recently bought Copra Coolstance for my poor-doer who is recovering from ulcers. He needs condition and after much research this seemed like the perfect feed so I bought some, added some linseed and his UlsaKind cubes and all of a sudden he wont eat his tea!

He was on fast fiber, UlsaKind, TB Chaff and Protexin and all that's changed is I've taken the fast fiber out and changed it for Coolstance.

Has anyone's horse refused to eat this in the past? Is there anything I can add that would make it more appetizing?
TIA

Mine love it, but my last bag was bought off someone whose horse wasn't convinced. You could try mixing a small amount in with fast fibre and increasing quantities over time.

I've got a fussy horse that anything new has to be introduced slowly and with soaked feeds he also doesn't like them too sloppy.

So I keep offering and eventually he decides I'm not going to poison him and will tentatively try.

Adding lots of flavourings and things to disguise actually makes matters worse because I am making even more changes for him to be suspicious of.

It is intended to be introduced slowly however if you dont have any luck try switching to Keyflow pink mash. Thats what I have done and my boys prefer it.
