Or when your dog eats his own poop for those who, like me, didnt know there was an actual word for it :D

Korben is now almost 10 months old - he is on the raw diet, gets mostly chicken, some beef mince now and again and enjoys a marrowbone or knucklebone almost every day - he is maintaning a healthy weight and gets 1.1kg a day of meat which is 3% of his body weight of 38kg at 27" tall.

He is walked regularly and far - he loves his walks - and in every other way he is a lovely, well behaved though sometimes very cheeky young dog :D

He has recently taken to eating poo - his own or the cats, hes not fussy. We have had to hide the cat litter tray where he cant access it as I dont want him eating the cat litter as its wood chips.

Should I be worried at all? Does he possibly need some additional supplements? Is there any way to stop it? Anyone elses dog do this?

Thanks in advance

Mine started lots younger and still do it: also fed raw. I tried chilli powder, which made it yummier, apparently. I have heard that adding pineapple rings helps to deter them (haven't tried, don't want to give them sugary stuff) and the only thing I have done is clear up after them. The stench on their breath is disgusting, even if their poos are teeny now.

Thanks guys - he actually went as far as to pick up a frozen poopsicle (as we now refer to it) and try to bring it into the house with him

More regular poo picking in the garden is I think the only way to go - just as well he is on raw and his poop is harder as a result - makes it not so unpleasant to clean up after him lol :D
