Do you have any suggestions for some quiet reasonably priced cordless clippers? Will only be used for one horse 2 or 3 times a year so not massive useage.

The Harmonys are great value and are nice and quiet. But if you want to do full clips or are clipping hairy beasts, then it will take you a little longer. The market leader in cordless clippers at the moment is the Lister Liberty. Clippersharp have got them on special offer at the moment.

Thanks for the suggestions. It is just to do a chaser clip on nervous horse, that hasnt got masses of coat.

I bought Wahl Adelar Horseline cordless clippers last year for my nervous mare and they've been great. They're so quiet she doesn't mind them at all, although I don't think they'd be much good if you had more than one or two horses to do, or a really thick coat. I got them from Surrey Pet Supplies - i think they're about £77.
