I have I cob not too hairy TB coat and i'm looking to buy new cordless clippers I have the heigener ones at moment but they are socket ones and clip brilliantly takes me about 2 hours to clip a full coat any info would be great, thanks.

I have the lister Avalon - find them handy and easy to use, it takes me about 2 hrs to do a hunter clip. They are not very sturdy and I don't think suitable for yards and multiple horse owners, but will easily manage a couple:)

We've got the Liberty Listers Yard Pack which came with mains and battery packs. Brilliant, really rate them. You can buy them just with the battery pack. The battery holds its' charge for ages.

In your situation, the Lister Liberty is probably the best option, considering the type of horse and the time it currently takes you to clip. Whilst the Liberty has the longest life (IMHO) from its battery, you still have a cord from the clipper to the battery pack. The Wolseley Merlin, takes Heinegar style blades, but will clip for a max of about 45 mins on one battery, but you can buy spare battery packs, so you can have two charged to start with and when one goes flat, use the second and put the first one back on charge. This is the other option, I would also agree that the Harmony is not really man enough for full clips.

I have a cob and bought a set of woolsley Merlin cordless.
Light weight, quiet and can manage her thick coat well.

Have also clipped small M&M ponies & TB & WB with them.

Just make sure you charge them well before use. Love not having the lead in the way.
