Hi Does anyone have experience of clipping a large horse with cordless clippers? Are the Lister Liberty clippers reliable and is the motor powerful enough?
HI,
Just clipped my boy (16.1) completely out with an (oldish) pair of Lister Showman cordless clippers - coped a dream, even with using a fine blade on his very thick woolly coat.
Battery lastest really well (better than my trimmers that i started his head with and that ran out of battery with one ear to go)... so now he's one fluffy ear & one naked ear..oops
I have a set of lister liberty. Treated myself last year, they are awesome. I am VERY slow at clipping, but easily manage a full clip. I did a hunter & a trace in the same battery charge last winter.
Well pleased with them & wouldn't go past lister for clippers.
I bought my Lister Liberty clipper last year on recommendation from a friend who's had hers for 4 years.
I can not say enough good things about them, they are excellent and clipped my hairy welsh cob 4 times last year, he had a hunter so they took off quite alot of hair, also used them for the first clip this year and am going to get them sharpened now.
