iv had liveryman whisper clippers for about 5yrs now & they are still goin strong. I bought an extra battery for them tho as you only get 45-60mins out of each battery & im a perfectionist with my lines & also clip quite a few horses. Means one can be charging whilst i use the other. The also have the added advantage of being very quite clippers, mine are definately quieter than my trimmers!
I have some Lister Liberty, I've only used them once so far and was really, really impressed. They were recommended to me by my local clipper sharpener/repairer man (technical description!) They are what he bought for his wife to use so that was good enough for me!
I have Whal Avalon as they are the quietest, have a long lasting battery, are quick to recharge and have a pre-tensioned blade. They are a battery pack - does that count as cordless?
i have liveryman whisper but havent used them in years (due to being horseless!) where so good though i didnt want to sell them so when i get a horse i will still have them. really liked them though, very quiet compared to some! i didnt have a spare battery but did run out of charge a few times whilst using them. however they only took a short while to recharge so just used to leave pony with half his hair cut for a while whilst they recharged then finish it off. depends if you have more time or money on your hands really i suppose. i didnt mind having to take a break part way through but i imagine some people would do
