but that tack was normal back then. I expect the vast majority of pics of the 70's and early 80's would show the same. Why did it all get so complicated?
nice horse/beautifully turned out. Was he yours YCBM?
Precisely what I was thinking! I just asked my 24 year old daughter if she’d like a pair of corduroy jods and she said “what do you mean, do they make jods in cord”?These were sort of going out of fashion when I started ponies in the 90s, but I feel like I need a pair now, they look so cosy![]()
No saddle pads!! Numnah’s all the way!Gosh, tack and turnout was so much simpler back in the day ….. classic picture. Beautiful.![]()
Cord jodhs with a suede seat would be my ideal rather than the modern sticky stuff
Thanks Kaylum. 32 long please! We get Gorringe ones in now and again what size you after I will look out and let you know if we get any in our charity shop.
I had them too as a teenager, always rubbed at the thighI had a lovely pair of dark navy needlecord jods, I don't think they had enough stretch in really but looked nice![]()
32 Long. (how mustard are they? like dark yellow or (sorry) puke?)@cowgirl16
What size are you looking for? I have a pair of mustard coloured cord jodhs you'd be very welcome to if they'd fit
I'll check the size. They're a sort of dark yellow with a gold sheen. They're nice but hard to describe!32 Long. (how mustard are they? like dark yellow or (sorry) puke?)
