Sorry bit of a long story but thought someone here may have some relevant experience. While I was on holiday Monty went lame in the middle of a ride. Apparantly absolutely hopping, a trailer was sent to pick him up. He has very falt soles so a bruised sole was presumed. He was box rested for 3 days then turned out again.
1 week later got home and he was fine in the school but sore on concrete so I presumed he was getting better. Had 1 much worse day but seemed to be getting better. Farrier came out early for me and found a corn and dug it out. 2 days later he seemed sound again, next day lame again...
So in short, 17 days on he isn't sound and I am worried. I've had him 18 months and this is the first lameness.
Is there anything I can do to help him? how long would you expect it to last? should I book a vet for Monday?
