Cornucrescine daily hoof supplement

Friend of mine at the yard swears by it. She said it is also very good at encouraging hair growth (on a scar, mane that won't grow etc).

Am using the ointment moment but too soon to show any results. Looks good though!

Just have to find a way to apply it other than using my fingers cos it's incredibly sticky and hard to get out from underneath/down the side of fingernails :D

Is the supplement a feedable version of the ointment or does it serve a different purpose?

tooth brush, sponge or rubber gloves :)

My gelding gets splits in his rear hooves in the winter, this happened last year too and I had to get shoes put on him for a few months to support the foot while the splits grow out.
I am thinking in advance and was told about this product which comes in a pellet form so can be fed in feed or by hand, daily.
My local supplier is having problems getting hold of it at the moment so while I am waiting I though I would find out if anyone has tried it ! :)

Works really well but we had to stop as EDT thinks it is making Captain's teeth grow to fast. He has to be sedated every time he see the EDT and he was starting to be every 4/5 months. I hate sedation so we stopped it, but it definitely works.

The ointment's excellent stuff - definitely works. Though if you put it on with your fingers you end up with stained nails (which grow really quickly!)

(ETS Just realised you didn't ask about the ointment - doh!)
