correct noseband for showing (riding horse)

Hey,
Im gonna show my horse in a large riding horse class soon and as i am riding him in a double bridle cant use my normal flash noseband so im gonna buy a hunt noseband, the problem is i dont know which colour to get!
I have a dark brown Jeffries bridle that is well worn in but in very good condition with a flat brownband or a quite new fieldhouse bridle in a redder brown that has a raised browband.
Any ideas? My horse is a really golden palamino and my saddle is dark brown.

Dark brown is correct for showing & if the saddle you are going to be using is dark brown then I'd carry on the colour for the new noseband.

I also think that flat nosebands are preferred/correct in showing although I'm not 100% on Riding Horse classes

A nice flat one in dark brown is the way to go!
