Correct turnout for low level unaff dressage?

I've entered the giant baby for his first two tests this weekend.....he wears a snaffle bridle, gp saddle, brown numnah (saddle shaped) and a breastplate - is this all ok? For me, black boots, cream jods, green tweed & spotty stock, black hat/hairnet. Do I need white gloves? (Normally wear black/brown).....and I can't carry his schooling whip can I? Sorry for all the questions, not done dressage for about 15 years!! Thank you xx

The turnout sounds fine, you do not need white gloves and you can carry a whip if you want.

Turnout sounds ok, gloves either pale or black or brown , long whip is ok unless eventing dressage

Lovely, ta muchly. My aims are to not get eliminated, to stay in the arena and to stay on board, so don't want to get flummoxed by turnout before we start

Turnout sounds fine but would also suggest plaiting the horse

Don't forget your gloves - you'll be eliminated!

No boots, bit guards or martingales - breastplates are ok though personally I take mine off after warm up. Turnout sounds fine although personally I'd use a white numnah - but nothing wrong with what you have.

Double check if you need to have a competitor number holder too.
