I'm wearing a black show jacket( as that's all I have) with a stock and beige jods. What colour gloves would be ok? I have some black leather ones? Does it matter on the bridle colour? I have a nice mahogany stubben but the reins have rein stops on and I wasn't sure if that was a bad thing? Can you use diamond browbands?
Thanks in advance

Unless it's changed recently they want light coloured gloves, IIRC they have relaxed to this from white.

Tack colour doesn't matter, martingale stops don't matter - provided there's no martingale:) No grackles allowed though:) No idea about diamond browbands, sorry.

Light colour gloves are no longer compulsory. (Used to be but rule changed) if you do wear light colour they should match your jods but black are acceptable. Diamond browbands are ok too.

If you want to check yourself you can go to BHSwebsite- British riding clubs and download the rule book. Will answer any other questions you may have. Good luck.

Tried that but dont have the right adobe or something to download it and I dont do technical things!

If it says on the schedule that they are running to British Dressage rules then you will need light coloured gloves. Riding Clubs round here always check passports before letting you compete.

No bit guards allowed and no boots in the arena.
