Am looking for a joint supplement for an older pony - what have you found works best?
Has anyone used Maxavita? Is Cortaflex the best or is there something better out there?

I now feed top spec senior instead of cortaflex and a balancer. I would say he's doing better on it than he was on the cortaflex.
But i have never found him to be too stiff, this will be his first full winter on it though.

Maxavita is good.

Personally i use Equine America (makers of cortaflex i believe) Glucosamine 10000. with MSM.. and its marvalous and only 16 pound.

Is that for 900g, Lou? I found it on here for £13.95 the other day when I was hunting for some other things, don't know if the postage was included in your price - it's £6 on this site.

Cortaflex HA seems to have everything. When Ive looked into price per day it seems Cortaflex is best value for money because although it is expensive it lasts a lot longer. However its very hard to compare dosages though because I think they all deliberately use different measurements and mixes so you can't work out which is best without a degree in the subject!
