I have been looking into joint supplements for my horse, who has been recently diagnosed with bilateral bone spavin. Cortaflex has been recommended to me as being the best.

Has anyone got any opinions on either Cortaflex or other makes/solutions? Really wanna give the boy the best chance of staying sound!

Plus - any experiences with bone spavin? I had another horse with it, only a 5 year old TB, who had Hyonate (?) injections and a glucosamine supplement and is still sound 2 years later, competing in dressage and show jumping.

No experience of bone spavin sorry, but was giving my horse cortaflex for over 10 years, plus danilon but since finding out there are only condroitin and glucosomine derivatives.

I've recently changed to a glucosamine only supplement and nobute, which you can get with glucosamine in it so will be going for that next
