Cost for new trailer tyres?

I paid £140 last April for 4 new (correct heavy duty van tyres) for my Ifor 510. I had them replaced at the same time as it was serviced, the service centre buy in trailer tyres in bulk so it worked out a lot cheaper than if I had taken it to a regular tyre fitter.

(£240 including the annual service.)
 
Thanks. Have looked up the tyres & they seem to be about £40 each. Not sure I'm up to fitting them myself! Don't know if I'm better to get them myself & find a fitter or pay someone to do it all. Was thinking around £200 altogether so hopefully not too much more.
 
Make absolutely sure you get the correct specification horse trailer tyres and not car tyres as you could have an accident. (Ask the manufacturers of the trailer which tyres they fit)
A lot of people fit normal car tyres which are not suitable as they are not constructed to take the weight.
 
We had all 4 replaced recently and it was cheaper to get the whole wheel. (We paid £200 including delivery and fitting) We then sold off the old tyres to a company who shreds them for surfacing and the old wheels went for about £50 on eBay.

And Owlie is absolutely right - be sure you get tyres designed for horse trailers. Not car tyres.

Second this - the ones that were on our trailer when we bought it (second hand) were completely unsuitable and not at all up to the job of carrying 2 big horses. Replacing them was the first thing we did after we bought it.

Ooh I'll have a look at that, good tip! They are the proper truck tyres on it already so will use the code from them.
Any good companies West Sussex let me know.
 
I think I paid about £200 for mine, including fitting. I got them mail order from Tyre Leader and they were the cheapest by quite a bit. I had crossplies before, but at over £100 per tyre, I've switched to radial van tyres!
