Cost of a trim.

Hi could you tell me what you are currently paying for a trim and also do you pay travel on top or does your farrier add this into his charges.

£30 inc travel. Barefoot trimmer and spends a lot of time with my horse, I think it is worth the extra cost for mine.
 
I pay £10 but I also have one shod at the same time, if I only had him out for the trim it would be £20. Also my unshod one doesn't always need doing every time my other is shod but my farrier always picks her feet up and looks, if he doesn't do anything he doesn't charge.
 
Used to pay £10, then £15, then £20 now it's £25 - and that's for multiple shetlands and natives who are all well behaved and have the next foot up waiting for you! So now I trim them myself and get the farrier to do them before any major shows if needs be. I have never had an issue trimming my own, neither does my farrier.
