Hey,
Im wondering if anyone has recently built equestrian facilities and if so, at what cost?
Im planning on building a 25x45 arena and 5-7 stables. Would also need tackroom and haybarn.
if anyone has done similar tips/rough pricing would be much appreciated
TIA

For insurance purposes I had to cost up stables (no arena) and it was working out about £5k per stable. You could probably get them for less if someone is doing a larger build for you. Tackroom was broadly the same as a stable albeit not one the insurance company considered secure enough to store tack in. If you have a look at some of the wooden stable providers you can get online quotes to give you an idea. Brick built obviously more pricey.

Haybarn was a simple structure and around £10k (basic wooden construction, wooden walls 3 sides, metal sheet roof, concrete floor).

I wouldn't be surprised if its all shot up a bit now though with materials prices going through the roof.

Depends how you build stables… say about 60k for the arena (if you are on a flattish site) and stables if wooden about 5k per box — if you want a steel portal building with internal stables then this would last longer but be much more expensive in the short term

I had a 2 stable, open shelter and corner storage - 12x24 and tack room built last September for 13k. Then groundwork’s with concrete pad, road planings area was another 12k.
