Hi everyone.

I'm planning on having my 2yr old colt castrated soon but was wondering what its likely to cost me!

Has anyone had a colt castrated recently, if so, how much did it cost???

Thanks

the vet i work with does them for around 150 which includes the visit and drugs, but prices vary depending on complications, the amounts of drugs used and whether its a standing castration or not. good luck! x

I have just had my two yearlings done at £511 inc flu and tet jabs for them both , both were done standing in stables with no complications, may be different for a two year old

Thanks everyone!

I shall bear it all in mind.

My two year old is massive, almost 16.2 and not 2 till 13th July. Has bollocks to match so expect it will be a good 200 quid job x

my friend just had her stallion done at her yard standing and it was £180 no complications and if they are standing it has less change of getting infected and drains better!
