Cost of grazing!!

I rang about some grazing advertised, it has no shelter although the owner did say they would put some up. Its 8 acres would split, running water,quiet area. 50.00 per acre per week!
I thought that was a lot or am I being mean??

Jeez!!! When I offered just grazing last year I charged £10 per week for all the land...

Thats too dear IMO.

I think grazing at £20 in my area is fine because at the end of the day to me its not worth the hassle of other people on the yard for no return and I like to keep the paddocks maintained which costs money.

I'm sure you can find a farmer that would rent you some summer grazing Ask around!

Thats what Im going to do, its a pity as this is close to me perhaps when they dont let it they will drop the price.

They can't be serious! That's £400 per week if you took all 8 acres. £1,600/month.

I pay less than £400 a MONTH for 8 acres, with 2 stables, storage, outbuildings, water - and I'm in one of the most expensive parts of the country.
