Cost of hiring an indoor school or areana

Following on from another thread. How much do people pay to hire a ménage or indoor school,sole use? A quick Google has brought up a wide variety of prices.

After 5pm it’s £18 an hour. £15ph before that.
Taking part in a club night is £10 I think.
Outdoor school is £10ph

Depends hugely. From £10 per horse per hour to £25 per half hour. Another is £32 per hour for up to 4 horses but additional charge at peak times

In my area it ranges from £15 - £50/hour. It doesn't seem to matter about the surface (the £15 surface is new, as is the £50 one), more what the establishment thinks people will pay.

I'm in the south east so £30-£50 per hour

£20 per hour in the south west, sole use. £25 if 2 horses. that's for an indoor with lights.

£25 an hour with lights and use of jumps for an hour either indoor or outdoor. With a full course of jumps built ready to adjust to your preferred height it's £30 an hour.

Local arena is £20per hour exclusive use (large outdoor or 15x35m indoor)

Most of the dressage clinics I do, it is £15 for 20x60 indoor with good surface and mirrors for 45 minutes

I think price depends on if owner of school is commercial and paying commercial rates and insurance or not.

If not, then charging is a bit risky.

almost all the ones near me are £30-£35, some up to £50. and i’m north west!
