Cost of Injection into the stifle joint

If anyone has had this done previously on their horse I need the cost for vets to inject into the stifle joint. Just the action of doing the injection, not the charge for the drug also. Need to compare to what I have been charged to see if its a reasonable price.

We would charge around £55 per injection, more if done under U/S guidance. There are three synovial compartments in a stifle and it is relatively commonplace to levy a fee per injection, although we have a multiple injection fee of around £100.

Thank you for that, it was one injection into the main middle part of the joint which was accessed just to the inside of the stifle and I have been charged £95 a side! Very large vet bill for IRAP injections!

That would be within the "normal range" and does not strike me as unusually expensive.
