Cost of lesson

I have been thinking of taking up riding lessons and wondered how much per hour would I be looking at?

I pay £30-40 per hour, depending which one I go to.

I pay £10 for 45 minutes from my YO who is also an instructor, if I didn't have my horse at her farm she's charge £25.

It will depend on whether you want a group or individual lesson, your location and the riding school you go to. Around Windsor I've been paying £20/£30 for a half hour private lesson, which is why I don't go very much at the moment. Once I have more time to ride I will go more often, but a lesson at that price for once every 3 months or so with no other riding in between isn't worth it for me at the moment. Come on lottery numbers...........

At my local RS I paid £16 per hour, but now I have got my share horse I'd have to pay £25 for 30mins
