Cost of mowing rolling fertilising field?

Looking to purchase an 8 acre field with stables that is currently overgrown. Used for horses in the past. Surveyor advised mowing, the rolling and fertilising... Anyone know of approximate cost contractors charge for this? Also cost for mowing and bailing in the future? 😁

Normally between £8 and £12 per acre, depending on the contractor (professional or local farmer). Rolling can be a problem getting a decent heavy roller to you. Baling is upwards of 40p per bale small bales, not sure on big bales but it is getting harder to find someone with a good small baler. Ask around. If you have a 4x4 you could get some small harrows (ebay) and do it yourself, provided the land isn't too hilly
