My horse had a nose bleed after eventing yesterday and I will get him scoped but as my vet is amergency only today, I will phone on Monday .Anyone know the cost?
My horse was endoscoped both nostrils when she was being investigated for nosebleeds. About £90 a go at my vet clinic. They didn't find anything (apart from a melanoma in her guttural pouch but nothing to do with the bleeding) but the peace of mind that it wasn't guttural pouch mycosis was worth it. I also now know where her melanomas are and that her upper airways are fine
Hi, My vet wanted to scope as she thought there maybe something up his nose, but they found nothing. So after a week of mild sedation the bleeds were still happening (only slightly from one nostril) so off to Leahurst for MRI and another scope.
