I'm sure this has been done before but I thought I'd do a recent one and I wondered whether you'd all tell me how much to tend to pay for a set of shoes, a trim or for stud holes?
I reckon there will be some difference depending on where you live, but I will take that into account, I just wanted to gauge whether I pay an average amount or not :p

Thank all!

Mine is £65 a set (all hot shod). Can't remember how much for a trim, and never done stud holes with this lot - I'm not much help am I?!!!!

£70 for a normal set, Im pretty sure per 2 stud holes is £5 and my set at the moment is £120 (every 4 weeks :o)!! He has to have heart bar shoes on his fronts though and the last shoeing he had gels in - it has worked amazingly though made him a different horse so well worth it :)

Somerset, £60 full set, plus £5 for remedial work on hinds, and £5 travel costs.

A really good farrier who always turns up when he says he will and rings to apologise in advance if he's going to be ten minutes late. Dont know if he can walk on water though :D

my farrier is totally awesome he is £ 50 for refits and 60 for new set and 65 for studholes all round (one in each)!! Is a really good farrier and comes out if the horse lobs one within a few days, and if im competing he comes out on a sat!!!

East Sussex. £65 for a full new set.
My horse has to be shod cold but he charges the same either way.
He is very reliable too which I know can be hard to find in a farrier!

I'm in North Somerset. My farrier charges £75 for hot shoeing my small boy all round and £80 for my big boy. He does have massive feet :o Both have road nails.
