cost of transporting a horse to ireland

with any luck i will be moving to southern ireland soon. I would really like to take my horse with me.

Has anyone transported a horse over there, and how much did it cost? (I am based around the nottingham area)

i brought my horse back from ireland and i live in the north east of england and it cost me £200

A friend of mine had a horse that was sold to england and he went in a shared trailer, i think it cost stg.250, the company that did it normally do two runs a week as far as I can remember.

£200-300 is the norm it seems havign got lots of quotes recently
