When I last got a horse vetted cost me £80, rung the vets (local to horse) for a two stage it's £150. Rather shocking almost double the price in couple of years.
I know it's a small price to Pay in terms of making sure horse healthy, but to walk around making sure horse has 4 legs and a tail does seem easy money.

Like to know what others are paying/quoted ? Be interesting to see the price diff to where you live.

£150-£180 round by us for a standard 2 stage. It's £40 callout before they've even done nything nowadays.

If you have your own vet who you've been a long standing or regular client with, you may get it slightly less, but with a brand new one, they'll charge the standard I've found.

I've only ever had five stage done and last one cost me well over £200.
But problems were found and vet phoned me a few times to chat things over and e-mailed me after he sought advice from an expert in the problem. So i found it very good value.

I dont feel bad now, knowing it the going rate, I would love a 5 stage but horse been out of work for a while sat in field getting fat, being exercised after couple years off I can guess would result in a fail.
