Hi, does anyone know the rough cost of having seatbelts fitted in the cab of a horsebox? Mine is a 2000 reg so legally doesnt need them however from a safety point of view im seriously considering getting some fitted. I asked the garage that did my horsebox MOT but ive been waiting nearly two weeks now and still no price!

I bought a 15 year old Iveco last year that had no seat belts fitted - new price for seat belts was approximately £400 before fitting! Fortunately the garage I use is great and got a full set from the breakers yard for £125 and I think it was about £40 (could have been a bit less!) to fit them. Hope that helps.

Thanks guys, not cheap then!! Think i will try and get some from a breakers then and just ask for a fitting price, have a local garage that could probably do it for me :)

It might be worth looking into fixed belts rather than inertia reel, they are less convenient to use but cheaper to fit. I had them in my first car which didn't have factory fitted seat belts.
