good evening all,

I finally bought a horse box which is very exciting! One of the things I would like to use the lorry for is going on some new hacks - having covered every inch of ridable ground within 10 miles of 'home' which is just on the Warwickshire edge of the cotswolds. SO my question is does anyone know of anywhere I could safely park my small horse box and take my horses for a nice ride? does not need to be off road riding as my horses are good in all traffic and I don't need a route planned as I am a wizard map reader if I do say so myself. I just need to know where I can safely and legally park lorry and unload horses.
any ideas very very happily received
thanks

Go and knock on some doors. Ask at livery yards, farms, private owners. It is what the WBRA members did and there are 22 parking places for club members around the county.

Oh I googled WBRA and quite a lot of these places are doable from my yard, I think I will join you so I can use the parking scheme - thanks for the heads up :)

There maps are good too, seem to remember a BHS book, riding through the Cotswolds. Just below Cirencester there is of course the park and siddington ( lovely long grass bridlepath just not sure where it goes as not local!) TROT ride a ragley too.

The Cotswold Rides is more recent than the BHS book. I have a feeling it was launched with a ride at Adam Henson's farm ride, only a couple of years ago.
