Mini G42 has roped these two, amongst others, in for a very worthwhile cause.... She's organising a Help For Heroes Ball & Auction on January 15th, and has got some fantastic prizes, all donated. The list resembles something like this [and I've probably missed something off] :

A polo lesson, everything provided, with a professional coach, from Rutland Polo Club
A limited edition scarf from Holland Cooper
A pair of Hunter wellies, any size & colour
A mint condition pyjama case made in Leicestershire in the 50's to recognise Zulu Foxtrot & Roma Severn's achievements
and lots of non-horsey prizes [an integrated coffee machine and an integrated microwave!]
Tickets have gone really fast and there's only one or two tables left [she's sold 110 tickets ]. It's at Barnsdale Lodge, Nr Oakham, which has really good links to the A1, M1 and the old roman road. They've got 44 ensuite rooms there, so no excuses it's too far away Tickets are only £40 a head, tables of 8. That's including a 3 course meal, coffee & chocolates. It's over 18's only, as there'll be a licensed bar. There'll also be music.
Mini G42 will be a crock come Dec 4th as she's having an op, but plenty of time for her to pull everything together and make sure everything's spot on!
