I'm getting worried for my youngster, i have had him 3 months almost, he is almost 9 months old. He is very backwards as his mum ran out of milk so weaned early and as a result it seems his immune system has taken a hit.
He has runny eyes, a snotty nose, and a cough, i have him rugged up 24/7 and he is a fluffy section c foal with enough fluff you can loose your hand under it. But this is concerning me. Hes as lively as ever, checky as you like (bites your bum whinnies and canters off)
I have been told theres nothing vets can do for him and he will get over it him self but he has had this since i bought him of the stud in wales. Is there really nothing we can do to help him over this? do ponies have a flu plus like we have!?
