Cough supplement recommendation

I use human benelyn. Just syringe in. Best I've found by far. I have one with a pollen allergy and it's very difficult to manage.

We think we have narrowed my geldings down to be dust triggered - (After a bad episode and a vet visit where he was given a course of ventipulmin) I started feeding NAF respirator boost. It really helped. I now only feed it if he has any little blips (like when we had the big freeze and I couldn't feed soaked hay for few weeks)

Another recommendation for the NAF respirator boost liquid here, did wonders for my old mare and not too expensive either

A friend had some success feeding local honey to her pollen-allergic horse. That does depend on your being able to find some produced very locally but worth a try!

I've used the science respriaid supplement and Lincoln cough syrup syringed which both work well, also making sure they get enough vitamin E can help with coughing and allergies.

I've used Equinutritive Breathe Rite. Seems to work, but mine wasn't coughing badly, just at the start of trot work.

Best I every found was easacough, sadly they don't make it anymore.

If it is a tickly occasional cough I just use I just use simple linctus

Trinity consultants AH181 completely stopped mine coughing within a few weeks when he developed a pollen allergy seemingly out of the blue a few years ago. I put him on it every spring now.
